Well, it has been a slow week for progress on the house. That may not be entirely true, but it has definitely been a slow week in terms of visible progress. The siding was scheduled to go up last week, but the subcontractor received the wrong shipment of siding so installation was delayed. I am hoping that our siding (in "Boothbay Blue") has now been received and will be installed this week.
Jeremiah is heading to Indianapolis tomorrow and will meet with Bob for a pre-drywall walk through on Friday. The main purpose of the walk through is to determine the location of electrical outlets, speakers and other items. I'm sure Jeremiah will also be viewing some of our options for countertops, carpet, tile, hardwood floors etc. I will have to participate by phone and e-mail.
I'm sure Jeremiah will take a multitude of photos this weekend, and we'll post a portion of them here for everyone to see. If you see Jeremiah on Saturday, wish him a happy anniversary. We will have been married for 11 years on May 1.
